City Customer Offices closed on 5 to 7 October 2024

The City’s customer offices will be closed this weekend on 5 to 7 October 2024 due to necessary system maintenance. This excludes the motor vehicle registration and licensing services, which will be fully operational. The City apologises for any inconvenience. Residents are reminded of the various convenient online payment options.
'The City's Revenue Department Customer Interaction Centre offices, which includes those situated at the Liberty Promenade Mall, Table Bay Mall and Lansdowne Corner Mall will be offline and unavailable between 05:00 on Saturday, 5 October 2024, and 07:00 on Monday, 7 October 2024, due to unavoidable and necessary system maintenance.
This excludes the motor vehicle registration and licensing services, which will be fully operational.
'The City thanks residents for their patience while we carry out the necessary system maintenance. Residents may use our online services during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience caused,' said the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Finance, Councillor Siseko Mbandezi.
Remember: You can pay your municipal accounts (excluding motor vehicle licences) at any Shoprite/Checkers, Pick n Pay, PEP, Woolworths, USave, Ackermans, Lewis, Top It Up and selected Spar shops. Online payments may be made at www.powertime.co.za or www.easypay.co.za as well as via your internet banking facility: Select the City of Cape Town as a bank-listed beneficiary on your bank's website and use only your nine-digit municipal account number as reference.
You can also now settle your municipal account by using the convenient QR code on your invoice. The code is embedded with your EasyPay number and outstanding balance, so there is no need to enter payment details. You will be directed to your bank's secure payment portal to complete the transaction. The QR code allows for easy access to the payment portal for an accurate, efficient and secure payment process.
Payment for the renewal of motor vehicle licences may be made online at https://eservices.capetown.gov.za/
Motorists are advised that fines and warrants can now be viewed and paid online at https://www.paythat.co.za/, this includes fines pre-dating 1 July 2022.

• Scan to pay: Masterpass, Snapscan, Zapper, FNB, Nedbank, ABSA
Motorists who wish to pay their fines in person at a retailer, can pay at selected Spar shops if the fine pre-dates 1 July 2022.
Payment of traffic fines issued from 1 July 2022 can be made at selected Spar shops, as well as Ackermans, Builders Warehouse, Game, Makro, PEP, Pick n Pay and Shoprite/Checkers Money Market kiosks.
